1 Month
Well, today Payton has been back in the hospital 1 month, and she has been on ECMO (heart/lung machine) four weeks. It's been a quiet day (meaning, we've read a lot!). Yesterday they changed all the tubing, etc. on her ECMO machine, and so they're letting her rest. Tomorrow they plan to do an echo (ultrasound) on her heart and a turn down on the ECMO to see how her heart looks. Aaron left for Eau Claire this morning, and Aunt Cindy is coming to stay a few nights. And yes, as much as I love my husband, I am celebrating a definitive Bears victory :). So all is well (and cold at 54 degrees!) here in Rochester.

Yes, it is chilly ! Hope you and Cindy have some good bonding time with Payton. A good book and hot chocolate or tea sounds like a remedy for all of you.
Extra good wishes and prayers tomorrow during Payton's procedures . Much love to all, Grandma Jones
YAY for Aunt Cindy! Aunts are always lots of fun. Guess you get braging rights for awhile since the bears won!
Prayers for Payton and the family.
Miss you like crazy! There is so much to tell you...someday.
Love,
Victoria
Ok, Heather, I knew there was another reason I liked you...I had no idea you were also a Bears fan! I am in a mixed marriage as well (Erick likes the Vikings?)and we have managed to not let it become a wedge :-) We continue to pray for your sweet family and trust the Lord for your daughter.
With Love, Ellisa for the Lettners
We are so glad to hear the good news and that you had such a fun day of reading together! How sweet to hear of how the Lord continues to sustain and strengthen her little body. We continue to pray for you daily. Much love to you all!
Praying all will go well with Payton's tests today. Glad you have someone there with you when Aaron isn't, Heather. And hang in there - it's supposed to warm up by the end of the week!
With love to you all,
Karen & Brian Johnston
Hi Kids, Well haven't written in a while. So glad she is stable. What a wonderful set of parents little Patee has. Here is a little news from home. Michele Branning got married two weeks ago. Beautiful wedding in Chicago. Last weekend "little" Mike Willms got married in Chicago. That was another beautiful wedding. Teara did the bride and bridesmaids hair. In a month Carrie Istad gets married. Makes me feel really old. Justin & Shelley are putting a dormer on their home. It looks just wonderful. Can't totally finish it cause of all the rain. Better close or I will have to put a stamp on this.:) Love you all,
p.b
