We need a miracle

We spoke with the surgeon a little bit ago. The echo showed that her ventricles are weakening from what they saw on Wed. The other peds cardiac surgeon who does transplants will evaluate her today to see if she'd even be a candidate - we'll find that out in the morning. The only way she'll live at the moment is on the life support of the heart/lung machine. There really aren't any surgical options. So if she is a candidate for a transplant we need to decide whether we'd want to go that route - which to get a heart is like winning the lottery as our surgeon put it - or if we'll keep her on life support for a prolonged period to see if there's any chance. We've basically lost her at this point as it seems a transplant or a miracle is her only hope. We're praying for the Lord to be close, for Him to bring healing, and for His help in the hours to come. We covet your prayers.
Our family is here with us as well - just so you know we aren't alone.

Nothing is too big for God not even "winning the lottery". We're praying for you guys that God would keep you close to Him and that He would be faithful to His faithful. we've seen God do so many miracles already this year that we know he can do this. We pray that you would have wisdom and peace through these trials.

With Honor,
Brian Johnston

Our prayers will be with you always. There is hope, and we will continue for healing and hope for a miracle. May His peace surround you more now than ever before. I pray that whatever you decide, that you will have peace in your decisions. I wish my heart was small enough to offer to her. I'm sorry for this trial. I wish there was more we could do. Please let us know if there is anything else that we can do. We love you so much and our prayers will be with you always.

I cannot even imagine what you are going through right now. A bunch of us "seniors" are going camping this weekend, and I just want you to know that tonight we will lift up Payton and pray for wisdom and guidance for you and the doctors, and we will pray for God's will to ultimately be done.
We love you!

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Also, my husband has a lot of praying time in Iraq and he'll be praying for you all as well.

Love,

I'm posting for the first time, but I have prayed for your family all along. My words will do little to bring comfort, so I am thankful for the One who can! Keep clinging to Him!

Heather & Aaron,
The pain you must be feeling is more than we can ever imagine. I had to leave work tonite when Teara called about the last blog. You are like my daughter Heather, and I just wish we could be there to wrap our arms around you. I know your mom & dad must be heart broken beyond words. Hold on to each other, and God. That is your only help right now. Just know we are here hurting and praying for you.
All our love, terry & phyllis

Dear Aaron and Heather, Please know that we are praying for you, and others here in France are also holding you in our prayers.

We have been thinking and praying for all three of you since your last report. There are so many Psalms that have been running through my mind. Two of my favorites are Psalm 61 and Psalm 91.

Being under the shadow of the almighty is a good place to be. May God give you His peace and give healing.

Psalm 23 says The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. You are not alone.

Praying you will be surrounded in the presense and peace of the Holy One the Lord God Almighty, just as He promises in a verse from one of your April messages.

Isaiah 42:2-3 - When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.
