Mayo Visit

Wow! It's hard to believe that it's August already. Payton has now reached the 10 and a half pound mark. She is doing great and has had lots of quality time with grandpas and grandmas, aunts and uncles, cousins, etc. over the past month. She continues to keep us busy and making sure she gets the attentions she needs.

We are currently preparing to go back to Rochester for Payton's three month check-up with all of her doctors. We are leaving tomorrow (Monday) afternoon and her appointments start bright and early Tuesday morning. We have full days at the clinic on Tuesday and Wednesday, then just a couple appointments on both Thursday and Friday. We plan to come home Friday as of right now.

While we are there, we hope to stay in the Ronald McDonald house again, but it's only available on a first come first serve basis. So we have hotel reservations for now, but we will call the house when we get into town to see if they have an open room.

We'll do our best to keep you posted this week as we know more. Thank you!

Here are a couple pictures for you all, especially you Karen!

Thanks for the pics, Heather! You're the greatest!

We will be praying for you this week, not only that Payton's appointments will go well, but also that you can stay at the Ronald McDonald House, for traveling safety, and for the strength you'll need during this round of visits. We pray for you daily, and will continue to do so, and more, during this week. Looking forward to hearing how things are going!

Love,
Brian & Karen Johnston :-)

Thanks again for the pics - but Payton looks like she didn't want that second picture taken! She looks like she's scowling - but is SO CUTE!

Hello Heather, Aaron and Payton,
I don't know if you remember me: I attended 1st Assembly in St. Cloud while I was in high school, and was also in your student teaching class at Tech, Heather, before you went to Turkey?. Jessica Jennings sent out your prayer request, and I'm so thankful! My new husband and I will be praying for you. I knew you each for just a short time, but you were an example to me as a young married couple. I hope all goes well.

I'm sure if Payton could talk she might want to be freed of medical machines and hospitals. Here's a scripture for her: "Set me free from my prison, that I may praise Your name..." Psalm 142:7
