25 cards

I had 25 birthday cards in my box yesterday. Well, I was trying to figure out HOW in the world so many people knew it was my birthday, and then I read the post from my mom. Thank you so much for your outpouring of love - I am really blessed by it.
Not much new to report. Neurology took a good look at her yesterday with a thorough head ultrasound and EEG. Both are normal which is always good to hear. I've been reading to her a lot which I really enjoy doing. We finished Little House in the Big Woods and started Little House on the Prarie last night. I've forgotten so much of what's in them that's it's been fun to reread them. Grandmas and Grandpas are here this weekend. Being that there's no shortage of lovin' for the baby, Aaron and I are going to dinner tonight which will be good for us. We'll continue to keep you posted on what's happening. We love you all, the Joneses

Actually we're up to 65 cards, balloons and some care packages. Thank you so much for your prayers and kindness to Heather on her birthday. The cake is baked and in the frig at the Ronald McDonald house. We'll celebrate with the nurses, Aaron, Heather and Payton tomorrow. Payton has been awake a lot today so it's been wonderful to see her beautiful eyes and talk to her. Again-thank you for your love and prayers for Payton and her daddy and mommy.

Happy early Birthday, Feather. I'll give you a call tomorrow so I can sing to you. :-)

Hope you enjoy dinner and I'm glad you got some "retail" therapy this afternoon.

Love you,

P.S. I think another one of your friends may have spread the word about your birthday via mass email. I'm not saying who, but it starts with "T" and ends with "eara." :-)

Heather I am remembering back to your 16th b-day. All the girls turned it quite a bit before you. They all had big doings, when it came to you they were pretty well "birthdayed" out.So they just took you out to eat. You never let them forget that.:) :) Well now it is your turn to "out do" them for 28. :)
Have a wonderful day. Teara told me what you want to get. The footprint necklace. Use the money we sent toward it. Sounds just gorgeous. Kiss little Payton for us
Love you tonz,
p.b.

Happy Birthday Heather!!! We went out of town for our annual regional retreat here Thursday morning until today (Sunday our time - Saturday night yours)so we didn't get to send you a fun card from China But I pray this b-day wish makes it to you on time and that you have a really special day! We continue to pray with and for you and sweet little Payton. . . for healing, for a miracle and for God's name to be made great as He answers prayer! I'm sure some days you feel stronger than others. . . but we are praying that the joy of the Lord would truly be your strength and undergird all that you do on the good days and on the harder days too. You are loved!!! Josh, Tammy and Abby Hunt
