Arrival

The heart arrived at 2:15, and they've begun the switch. It'll be quite awhile before they're done. She probably won't get up to the room until 9 or 10 this morning. We're praying for the doctors, nurses, and technicians as this is truly an all-night ordeal for them. We're not sure when we'll hear more, but we'll let you know when we do. All the family is here safe and sound. Thanks SO MUCH for praying with us.

Praying for stability for Payton as they transfer the heart and for God to guide the surgeons hands. Thanks for keeping us updated.

Dear Lord, guide the doctors' hands, give them the wisdom and stamina to get through this long procedure, and as you always have, thank you for holding Payton during this time. Lord we thank you for such a strong little girl, we pray for a procedure with no surprises. Lord thank you for Your faithfulness, we thank you for this heart and for Paytons body to accept it as her own. We praise Your name. Amen

This is the time when we can truly feel His presence and peace and feel the connection because we are all part of God's family. God has called all three of you for a special journey which has drawn even the Doctors and Technitions to Him because of your spirit and the strength we know you are experiencing. Our prayers are continually with you.

In Jesus name we speak total healing to Payton and realize what a strong little girl she is even now.

We will be singing "We sing praises to your Name, Oh Lord". Also this little song for Payton, "Good morning God
This is Your day,
Payton is your child,
Show her Your way.

We are holding all of you today, before Him.

Love,
Dale & Rose Hampton

Father, we lift Payton up to you right now knowing that you created her and hold her in your hands. She is your precious child and we ask for hands to be on the surgeon's hands as well as every doctor and nurse in the room with her. Please, Father, make this heart a perfect match for Payton so that she can live a full life serving You! Amen

Aaron and Heather,
Hey Matt again. I played this song for you guys and little Payton today. I thought you may enjoy the lyrics. I almost cried I was so happy for you and just thinking about how faithful our God is when we pray.

Somebody's Praying Me Through

Pressing over me like a big blue sky
I know someone has me on their heart tonight
That's why I know it's gonna be alright
'Cause somebody's praying me through
Somebody's praying me through
It may be my Mother, it might be my Dad
Or an old friend I've forgot I had
But whoever it is I'm so glad that
Somebody's praying me through
Somebody's praying me through

Through the tears, through the rain
Through the sorrow, through the pain
It keeps bringing me through
Over and over again
So when you're drowning in a sea of hurt
And it feels like life couldn't get any worse
There's a blessing waiting to push back the curse
'Cause somebody's praying you through
Somebody's praying you through
Someone got down on their knees and prayed for me
Somebody's, somebody's praying you through

I prayed for you and little Payton (off and on) all night last night and got up early to see how things are going. I'm so glad God has given you peace. It's so good to know that God is in control, isn't it? We will continue to pray for all of you.

I woke up and my first thought went to Payton. Know that the whole office will be praying together for her today about the time she comes out of recovery. Your family is on so many of our hearts.

I've been praying since I heard last night at POPS that you had a heart! God is awesome and powerful and has already done so much! I pray that this time of surgery and recovery will go smoothly and that you'll soon be able to hold your baby girl in your arms.

In constant prayer,
