Still Going

Well, she still has her breathing tube out. We're grateful for that. We were even able to hold her a little this morning. She's had some arrhythmia (irregular heart rhythms) which started yesterday evening and has continued off and on. Her left lung has a good bit of fluid still in it, and the cardiologist thinks that may be the cause of the arrhythmia. So they are turning her frequently and suctioning out some of the fluid to try to get rid of it. Her blood pressure, blood gasses, and oxygenation is good, though, so that's a good sign.
She's looking more content, and it was quite enjoyable to hold her :). She just settled in and looked around. We'll continue to keep you posted...little baby steps forward :).

Hi,

Greetings from Eau Claire. Glad to get the report today and just wanted you to know how much people care and are praying for all three of you.
Payton is a beautiful little girl and is blessed to have the two of you for parents. Take care and we will see you soon.

Dennis and Jan.
(P.S. We move into our house on Saturday. Do you want to come and help? ha ha)

I'm so glad for the good report. We keep you in our prayers and say a special prayer for strength for all three of you. Payton is beautiful. I know hospital life can be weary and days can sometimes just blur together, but everyday gives your baby the chance to heal and grow stronger. Keep up the good spirits and remember to take a little time to get out into the sunlight. It will help to give you strength and time to think.
All of our love,
Joe and Amber Boone

This is encouraging to read and I can't imagine how encouraging for U to experience. This entry compared to the first several--that's great. I check ur updates every day I'm at work & pray, and when WM's and Mettes gather for our Wed. a.m. devos we always pray for U 3. I've kept the ladies posted & we've really come to the throne on ur behalf. One of our ladies knows someone who works at UWEC & she also prays. Isn't that neat? Be encouraged.

So happy to hear the great news. I've passed it on to my girlfrend in GA and to her church and my daughter Scotty, and her church in Menomonie.
