From Home

I can't tell you how great it feels to be sitting on our couch, in our home, watching our baby sleep in her bouncy seat, posting this on our computer, all while watching the NBA finals on our TV!

Since being home Payton has done really well. She is a pretty happy baby. She sleeps really well at night and most of the time hardly moves when we plug her in for feeding every third hour. Her heart rate and breathing have been great, they are really only affected when she gets mad. That usually just happens when she has a full diaper, gas, or when she gets a bath.

Thank you for continuing to pray for her and us. Mom and Dad are expectedly achieving a high level sleepiness, but we are starting to get into a routine. We had our first check-up with a pediatrician here in Eau Claire on Monday. It went very well. On Thursday we have an appointment with a pediatric cardiologist that travels here from Mayo ever other week. At this point we expect that to go well.

Here's Payton in her "going home from the hospital" dress. It's a dress that Heather wore as a baby. Awww.

At the Ronald McDonald House.

All packed up and ready to go home to Eau Claire!

I've been waiting for your post, how awesome that you are all home and doing well. I thought of you often and knew that you both had some major adjustments once you got home. Tears of joy seeing her in her little blue dress, then I read that it was Heather's more tears. I am so happy for you two can't wait to see her. Again I say, my prayers continue to be with you all.

Okay, so I had trouble earlier today, as you can see, and I posted almost identical posts - sorry, but I promise I didn't mean to and it wasn't my fault! And I meant every word, even twice!

Wow, this has been a long time coming. How sweet is Payton? I love her so much in the sleepy picture. So wow, this is great. No, don't get me wrong; it's also great that you get to watch the NBA finals at home, but I mean Payton being home. &:>) I was so happy to tell the ladies at devos today that you are all safely home. We will continue to pray; right now for especially sleep and getting into a routine.

It's great to see you all together and smiling! I can't imagine the stress you have gone through, but the testimony of your faith was very evident and you faced your trials with courage and trusting in our Lord. You inspired me, and I appreciate your testimony! Thank you for keeping the faith and professing it in such a hard time of your lives. Our Father will truely bless you. I pray for those blessings for you guys daily. You will see them in the day to day, but I am confident that our Heavenly Father will reward you richly in Heaven. I hope to be there to watch you recieve your crown....I can say, "I prayed for those jewels to be on those crowns" I know that he will say "Well done my good and faithful servants, you have served me well" Many blessings on you. We miss you and wish that we could spend more time together. Eternity will allow for time for that I guess. Keep fighting the fight! You two have blessed us more than you'll ever know. Our Father has heard MANY times. Bless you.
