Overseas Post #4

Liv had her 2nd birthday while we were gone! Despite the lack of American goods, we made nachos, homemade salsa, and garlic cheese bread with dipping sauce.... and of course a birthday cake! We did alright! And to all of us gone for nearly a month at this point, the taste of home was a welcome one :).


Liv ate quite a bit! A good thing considering that sometimes a hummingbird eats more than she does.

We played some kids party games like musical chairs...

Dad and Liv won a round!

...and we played toss the clothespin into the jar... and later we played a few rounds of hangman after Liv was asleep :).

Here's 2 of the stint girls, Jill, and Erin (Aaron's co-director). They were all SO good to Liv. I just love this picture :).

So Liv is quite the traveler on her birthday - born in Korea, 1st birthday in S. Carolina, 2nd birthday in the Middle East! We'll see where we are for the 3rd birthday!
