9 Class Days

We've just finished week 2 on campus. Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Things have been really busy but SO GOOD! So we've had 9 class days and in that time we've seen 12 students pray to receive Christ! (If you're wondering exactly what this means, I'd encourage you to read an online version of what we share with students here: www.campuscrusade.com/four_laws_online.htm ). I have never experienced a fall like this. Ministry has been incredible. As staff, we've been energetic to continue to go and initiate conversations with students. Our students have had such a passion to reach their campus for the Lord and have also been out initiating conversations. I don't remember having so many opportunities to share about the Lord, and I've also been able to connect with some really fun freshmen. It's been incredibly encouraging, and I'm just so proud of our students.

We kicked off AIA (Athletes in Action) this past Tuesday night and had 27 students there! We were really excited to see that. Also, at our large group weekly meeting on Thursday nights that we have for the main movement, we've had 214 and then 190 students attend. This usually drops as the semester goes on, but we'll see what happens! So I wanted to let you know what God has been doing on campus in just 2 short weeks. We'll keep you posted as the semester goes on. Much love, the Joneses

Heather,
Wow... God is amazing, 12 students in such a short time period! I'm happy to hear what God is doing through your ministry and your life. Thanks for sharing the great things that He is doing and for sharing your life with all of us in cyberspace. :-) I enjoy seeing how God is blessing my old friends. Take care!
